PPS felt is widely used for dust removal in Boiler industry. A mainland needle felt manufacturer gained a PPS filter bag order from a small thermoelectric plant with total amount 3600 bags. Bag size ¢130 x 6,000mm. Since PPS filter bag requires PTFE thread stitching, it was a big outlay for three needle stitching. So the needle felt manufacturer appealed ST Filter to weld the tube for those PPS filter bags.
The advantage is obvious:
¡¤ Welded technology does not need to stitch by PTFE thread, which is cost saving.
¡¤ Welded tube does not have needle holes in vertical line, which improves filtration efficiency and reduces the emission rate.

Result:
The needlefelt plant manager replied that the welded filter bags running perfectly after one year. ST filter saved more than USD20,000 for the bag making and help the customer to increase 12% profit.
