It is an unsuccessful application. The customer was unhappy on the cages, so ST Filter loss chance to cooperate with them again.

A New-Zealand customer bought 1680pcs of fiber glass membrane filter bags and cages from ST Filter. The filter material was Donaldson Tetratex fiber glass PTFE membrane felt 6255. ST Filter is the nominated filter bag maker of Donaldson Tetratex Agent in China for PTFE membrane felt, so the bag making was no problem. It is the first time that ST Filter exported the cages by container, so we do not have many experience of protect the cages during overseas transportation. The cages were not properly fixed in the container, so nearly 200pcs cages were completely damaged. And lots of the cages had problem on vertical straightness. See below. So the customer has to spend lots of time to repair the new arrival cages and use the old cages instead of new cages for replacement.

The fourth cage from left hand side…..crosses over where the third cage should be.

But the Donaldson Tetratex Fiber Glass PTFE membrane filter bags have no complain from customer after one years of running. After this application, ST Filter strictly pack the cages for overseas container shipment.
