Pulse-jet style bughouses are designed to utilize fabric filter bags with internal support structures commonly referred to as cages. Cages must be strong to withstand the pressure from the filter bag exerted during the particulate collection cycle. Additionally, cages must be selected with the proper structure design to conform to the fabric requirements. Gas stream chemistry will determine whether special metals or special coatings will be required to reduce or eliminate corrosion to the cages' metal surfaces. Cage sizes, both length and diameter, can be crucial to the success or failure of the filter bag.

By close cooperated with a local cage plant, ST Filter can provide a wide range of cages to best fulfill your needs. Cage constructions, consist of 8,10,12,18,20 even 24 vertical wires. If the length is a problem, two piece even three piece of split cages can be available. Cages are made from galvanized carbon steel, 304 stainless steel.

Venturis are made from galvanized carbon steel, aluminum, plastic and stainless steel; available from 90mm to 250mm in length.
