The welded plastic collar filter bag has no stitch holes therefore it has no potential side leakage. Further more, since it’s 100% welded, it won’t be contaminated by silicon oil from the stitching thread.

The plastic collars are molded by premium plastic granule; they are resistant to nearly all kinds of possible chemicals attack. Available material: polypropylene and Nylon. The replacement bags made with different plastic collars can be excellent standby to the branded filter bags on the market.

Innovative Welding Technology
By years of successful experience and failed applications, ST Filter designed and developed different collars and welding technologies for different filter materials and applications.

1, Plain welding--To maximize the welding surface for PP felts welding onto PP collar in some heavy dirty applications. Furthermore, the collar is molded with 3 parallel bulges to maximize the welding strength.

2, Short teeth welding--To maximize the welding strength for Monofilament weld onto PP collar. The length tensile strength of Monofilament bag drops on welding part, our special designed welding mould can maximize to avoid the damaged Monofilament area on welding part.

3, Long teeth welding--To improve welding strength and fiber free. In some application, filter fibers are not allowed to drop into the downstream. ST Filter designed the long teeth mould to lock all the free fibers on the collar.

4, Extra strong welding--To improve welding strength. In some applications, extra thick felt, e.g. PP 1um has to be used for heavy dirty filtration. Since the pressure of the bags raised very fast, so the felt bag will be tightly adhered to the basket. Extra Strong welding teeth maximize the welding strength on the collar, to avoid the collar breaking away from body of the bag when pull out the collar from filter housing.

5, Bottom welding. With our innovative design, ST Filter design extra strong and fiber free bottom welding to satisfy nearly all applications.
